MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

You will install, repair, and maintain various air conditioning system including but not limited to package units and split systems according to manufacturer specifications.

You will install, repair, and maintain ice makers, water coolers, reach-in refrigerators, bottle fillers, walk-in freezers and refrigerator boxes.

You will install, repair, and maintain electric and gas heating units such as electric strip heaters, water heaters, hot air furnaces, baseboard heaters, infrared heaters and heat pumps.

You will conduct periodic maintenance and calibration to heating systems according to manufacturer specifications.

You will install trim, floor coverings (including carpet, vinyl, and ceramic), gypsum board and apply joint compound in layers to create a uniform finish.

You will install conduit, raceways, supports, electrical wiring, switches, outlets and light fixtures; and troubleshoot lighting and outlet circuits.

Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
