Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Performs as a working leader, creating work orders and assigning work to others. Demonstrates proper work methods and works along with others to set a work pace. Ensures necessary plans, materials, supplies, equipment, and tools are available when needed.
Performs non-supervisory work involved in the maintenance and repair of grounds, exterior structures, buildings and related fixtures and utilities, requiring the use of trade practices associated with occupations such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, cement work, painting, and other related trades. Operates lifts, mowers, and motor vehicles.
Cleans the visitor center and park headquarters. You may be required to travel overnight away from home up to 1 nights per month. You must obtain a government charge card for travel purposes.

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Ability to Lead or Supervise (SCREEN OUT) Experience must be demonstrated in at least two of the following trades: Carpentry, Painting, Plumbing, Electrical, Cement Finishing, or Masonry Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Use of Measuring Instruments Technical Practices (Theoretical, Precise, Artistic) Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc.
(Includes Blueprint Reading) Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, and Repair, etc. Knowledge of Materials If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration.
