Maintenance Mechanic

Perform journeyman-level installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plumbing and piping systems, including water supply, waste, drainage, fixtures, pumps, valves, and related utility systems.

Construct, install, modify, and repair structural and non-structural building components, including doors, windows, partitions, cabinets, flooring, and interior/exterior finishes. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC, heating, ventilation, electrical, and related mechanical systems to ensure safe and reliable facility operations.

Perform grounds and exterior facility maintenance; document completed work; operate maintenance equipment and Government vehicles; and respond to emergency and after-hours call-back situations involving utility failures or facility safety issues.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part-time experience.
