Employment Attorney (4-7 years) - Partnership Track

Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a boutique employment law firm in Pasadena, CA. We are seeking a mid-level attorney (4–7 years of experience) who is ready for more than just another associate role. Many talented litigators reach a point where they realize partnership at their current firm may be years away or not realistically attainable.

This opportunity is designed for attorneys who are ready to step into leadership and build toward partnership in a collaborative, quality-over-quantity caseload environment. You will work closely with the firm owner on complex employment litigation, while also having the opportunity to help shape case strategy, mentor junior attorneys, and participate in the growth of the firm.

Ideal For An Attorney Who

Has 4–7 years of employment litigation experience (plaintiff-side strongly preferred)

Has handled depositions, motion practice, and case strategy

Is comfortable managing cases with increasing autonomy

Is interested in developing toward a partner-level role

Wants a clear path to partnership for the right individual

Wants direct access to firm leadership and meaningful involvement in firm growth

Wants an opportunity to work on impactful employment cases

Wants a collaborative boutique environment where your contributions are visible

Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

An active member of the California State Bar in good standing

4–7 years of experience handling employment law matters, with demonstrated litigation experience

Trial experience a plus but not required

Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills, including drafting motions, briefs, and discovery responses

Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while staying organized and detail-oriented

Comfortable working independently or collaboratively, with a commitment to regular team meetings and case strategy sessions

Excellent client communication skills, with the ability to build trust and explain complex legal issues clearly

A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a passion for advocating on behalf of employees

Salary Range: $175,000 - $300,000
