As an intern at Arkitema, you will be part of a design team in one of Scandinavia's largest and leading architectural firms, where you will work with experienced architects, construction architects, urban planners and engineers to solve a wide range of professionally relevant tasks.

Your key responsibilities will be

To use your academic knowledge of architectural fundamentals to contribute to our projects

Gain valuable experience in the field of architecture and construction

Also, you will be included in a team and assigned an experienced colleague as a mentor who will guide you throughout your internship. We carry out architecture primarily throughout the Nordic region but also other parts of the world within the areas of; Housing, Learning, Business, Health, Urban, Culture and Infrastructure. Therefore, our assignments range from small preservation-worthy residential neighborhoods to complex super hospitals, bridges and cultural centers.

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to be involved in drawing the first lines, registering old building masses, supervising construction sites on ongoing projects, or modeling and detailing the many complex buildings. Our professional span will give you a broad understanding of the design profession and in-depth knowledge of the workflows in the construction industry.

On top of that, you’ll have

Actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree within Urban/Landscape Architecture field or similar.

Have good problem-solving skills

Be a creative and technical thinker

Be able to demonstrate evidence of research and information gathering skills
