OUR HIRING PROCESS

It’s also our opportunity to learn about you — your experience, talents, skills and potential to help shape our mission-driven work.

We consider all applications, and if there’s a match between your background and our current needs, you may be invited to complete additional steps in the hiring process, including some or all of the following:
Phone Conversation: An initial 30-minute phone call to connect and explore your interests and the open position(s).
First Interview: A 45-60 minute in-person or video meeting with our team to discuss your experience. This includes a portfolio review (for design positions), discussion of your relevant experience, your design/work approach, and how you solve challenges. Team members can answer your questions and share direct information about what it’s like to work at Mithun. We’re happy to offer tips if you’re new to portfolio reviews or want guidance on how to prepare.
Second Interview: Another conversation (45-60 minutes) with additional team members to dive deeper into your skills, knowledge and interests, as well as answer your remaining questions. Occasionally, we may invite you to a third interview.
Offer Decision: We will check references, select the most suitable candidate for the position and present an offer.
We are committed to making our recruitment process fair, accessible and encouraging. Our goal is for you to leave each step feeling informed, respected and excited about the possibility of joining our team.
