**Your Mission**

Ensure smooth and safe daily lab operations while providing technical support to researchers and students across molecular biology, cell culture, and microfluidics workflows.

**Main duties and responsibilities**

* Support of the management of the laboratory

+ Ordering lab supplies and consumables

+ Keeping and updating inventories of chemicals and biologicals

+ Maintenance of instruments

+ Preparation of common solutions for the lab

+ Keeping a well\-maintained lab with team members

* Supervise good laboratory practices and biosafety rules

* Support researchers and students in their experiments

+ Conventional molecular biology techniques (PCR, RT\-PCR, Western)

+ Cell culture

+ Library preparation for sequencing

+ Immunofluorescence staining and flow cytometry

+ Microfluidics chip fabrication

+ Running experiments with different microfluidic set\-ups

* Writing reports and communicating results

* Participation in the planning of projects together with team members

* Participation in the development and validation of new protocols and techniques

**Your Profile**

* Diploma of the lab technician school (CFC or ECL) or equivalent, or bachelor degree in a relevant discipline.

* Experience working with library preparation and microfluidic set\-ups.

* Strong spoken and written competency in English and French.

* Highly organized and interactive personality.

* Detail\-oriented, able to multitask and perform precise work, as well as record and report results with clarity and details.

* Proactive and motivated to learn and master new methods and techniques.

* Able to work independently and within a team.
