The posting

You will conduct high priority work including network-centric warfare test capability development and operational testing.

You will identify the technical customer base, interact with prospective test planners on a regular basis, and provide in-depth infrastructure/network data.

You will conduct operational analysis and formulate system concept architectural designs, functional specifications, system integration, and documentation aspects of the network infrastructure integrating laboratories.

You will prepare comprehensive technical documentation and reports and participate in conferences and demonstrations to present technical data.

You will maintain currency with both simulation requirements and test techniques and continually advise management of new subsystem designs that could improve current procedures.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or DS-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing day-to-day operational support for Information Technology infrastructure; 2) Delivering maintenance to help improve performance of systems and dependent environments; 3) Monitoring systems/networks and resolving complex issues in system/network software and hardware; 4) Training users on new technologies; 5) Performing administrative support, local and remote access support, troubleshooting, and issue reporting; 6) Executing vulnerability assessment and mitigation; 7) Researching and making recommendations in all areas of Information Technology acquisition investments; 8) Overseeing Information Technology acquisition, deployment and management of Information Systems for multiple networks across multiple distant sites; and 9) Working with Systems/Network Administrators to maintain and support the networks and storage devices in a physical and/or virtual environment.
