Supervisory IT Specialist (PLCYPLN)

Produces accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout program life cycle.

Makes decisions on work problems presented by team leaders and contractors.

Translates policy guidance into appropriate technical and functional guidance for program management.

Makes major recommendations to the Division Chief and the Director affecting enterprise operations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Directing major programs requiring significant resources designing new or existing information management systems; Establishing a project management system for program planning; and providing guidance to employees in identifying training needs to enhance their capabilities.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
