As an Administrative Services Technician, you will
Account for current and incoming inventory items
Adhere to rules and guidelines while performing the duties of a Purchasing Agent
Track the status of assets utilizing an automated system
Independently evaluate the need for facility and equipment maintenance
Advise and assist commander and staff members on all matters pertaining to motor vehicle fleet management and maintenance

Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must clearly describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled including: Maintaining an automated inventory system to account for the organization's local or remote supply inventory; Resolving issues with supply requests to ensure required supplies can be obtained; Making approved purchases, within established limits, with an organization's credit/purchase card.
Assisting in the management and/or maintenance of an organization's motor vehicle fleet. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
If you are a current Federal employee, you must include your pay plan, series and grade in your work experience(s) on your resume submission and/or upload supporting documentation (within-grade increase SF50) to show that you meet the time-in-grade requirement.
