THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE SOLICITATION - These positions are being advertised through the Direct Hire Authority (DHA) for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Facilities.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Basic Requirement for IT Specialist (Systems Administration): Specialized and Other Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Perform the maintenance of server files, databases, applications and other related software. Monitor and analyze system performance and correct deficiencies.
Experience in Information Technology security principles and methods to configure, purchase and install new equipment. Provide technical support to customers who need advice, assistance and training regarding server issues. Extensive and current knowledge working with IT requirements in and industrial environment.
Demonstrates skills in applying patches, Security Technical Implementation Guides ( STIGS), Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVAs), and upgrades to IT Army servers/Appliances. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). 1.
