Lead Interior Designer

The Lunz Group is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual that thrives in a creative and collaborative setting to join our team in Central Florida. Currently, we are in search of a Lead Interior Designer with 10+ years of experience. This person will be responsible for managing projects and leading the Interior Design department.

Employment Type: Full-time

Values you bring and Essential Responsibilities of Senior Interior Designer:

Manages projects and leads Interior Design department.

Participates in the design control of projects in the design development, construction documentation, and supervision phases.

Responsible for project budget management and cost control.

Liaises with Project Managers, Architects, and consultants to generate concepts for interiors projects.

Enhances the function, safety, and aesthetics of interior spaces.

Select samples, including flooring, carpet, and paint to be approved by client

Responsible for carrying out these design assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques or design.

Understanding of interior design specifications, calculations, and industry standards.

Provides direction to lower-level interior design staff.

Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.

Manages ambiguity and complex issues

Communicate effectively among team members and clients

Qualification of Senior Interior Designer

Bachelor’s degree in interior design.

Certification as licensed professional required.

Over 10 years of experience.

Experience leading a team of lower-level designers.

Strong visualization and innovative design skills required.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam.

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office required.
