Why can this position be exciting for you?
As a Senior Marketing Designer at AMBOSS, you’ll play a key role in shaping how healthcare professionals around the world experience our brand. You’ll transform complex medical and educational concepts into clear, impactful visuals that drive user engagement and trust.
Your work will directly influence how students, doctors, and partners connect with AMBOSS, helping us grow globally while staying true to our mission of improving medical education and patient care. This is an opportunity to put your design skills to work on projects that make a real difference.
You will
Own and evolve AMBOSS’s marketing design language across campaigns, channels, and markets, ensuring consistency and excellence in visual storytelling.
Design and deliver high-impact marketing assets (e.g., campaign concepts, landing pages, ads, social content, event materials, sales enablement tools, printed collaterals) that inspire and convert.
Translate complex medical and educational concepts into accessible, engaging visuals that resonate with students, physicians, and partners worldwide.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Design, and Markets to align creative work with strategy, messaging, and user needs.
Lead creative direction on key projects, mentoring junior designers and setting quality standards within the marketing design team.
Continuously experiment and improve, contributing ideas for new formats, storytelling approaches, and creative strategies, workflow optimisation that strengthen the AMBOSS brand.
You bring
Expertise in visual design with a strong portfolio across digital and print marketing (campaigns, landing pages, social, ads, events, fairs).
Mastery of design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.) and comfort working across different formats and channels.
Strong understanding of branding and storytelling, with the ability to adapt visuals to different audiences and markets.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, product, and content teams, balancing creativity with business goals.
Ability to simplify complexity — translating technical or educational topics into engaging, clear, user-centered design.
Strategic thinking to connect creative ideas with marketing objectives and measurable outcomes.
Project ownership and leadership skills — able to drive projects independently, set quality standards, and mentor junior designers.
Excellent communication skills — confident in presenting ideas and explaining design decisions to stakeholders
