The European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology (EULAR) represents people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases, health professionals, researchers and scientific rheumatology societies across Europe. EULAR is a non-profit association recognised under Swiss law, fostering a multitude of activities in areas of advocacy, education, congress, quality of care and research.
EULAR’s mission is to reduce the impact of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases on
the individual and society to improve the social position and the quality of life of people living with this disease.
We are seeking a creative and talented Graphic Designer to develop high-quality visual
content that supports and strengthens our brand while engaging our audience across
digital and print platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong design expertise with
excellent attention to detail, transforms ideas into impactful visual communications while ensuring consistency with our band identity.
Your responsibilities
- Design visually appealing communication materials, including graphics, brochures,
backgrounders, presentations, website, illustrations, icons and other promotional
assets for digital and print production.
- Ensure a consistent brand identity and compelling visual storytelling across all
communication channels and customer touchpoints.
- Support the Events and Congress Team in designing impactful signage, booth
graphics, and event-related visual materials for conferences and exhibitions.
- Conceptualise and develop creative campaigns and ideas from initial briefs through
final production.
- Use generative AI tools and emerging creative technologies to enhance ideation,
design development, and workflow efficiency.
- Manage multiple design projects ensuring deadlines, high-quality standards, and
project objectives are met.
- Stay up to date with trends, tools and industry best practices, proactively adopting
new approaches that support design quality and creative processes.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, while overseeing and ensuring the
quality of external creative partners where required.
- Foster a collaborative, forward-thinking and innovation-driven team culture.
Your profile
- Degree, diploma, or professional training in graphic design, visual communication,
digital design, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in graphic design, creative design or similar creative role.
- Proven ability to translate marketing concepts and brand strategies into compelling
visual solutions, aligned with our corporate identity (CI) and design guidelines (CD).
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing creative work across digital and print channels,
including packaging, point-of-sale (POS) material and event/congress environments.

- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop,
Illustrator).
- In-depth understanding of print production processes, typography, colour theory,
layout, composition, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience creating designs for digital platforms including website, social media and
other online communication channels. Understanding of UX/UI as well as accessible
and performance-focused design is a plus.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, video editing, or animation is an advantage.
- Interest in and practical experience with generative AI tools such as Midjourney,
Firefly, ChatGPT, Nano Banana, or comparable solutions to support creative
workflows.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities
competing demands, and deliver high-quality work within deadlines..
- Keen eye for detail, high standards of quality, strong conceptual and creative thinking.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional
teams and stakeholders.
