The Schützenhaus restaurant is one of the region's traditional establishments. The focus lies on the à la carte restaurant "Gartensaal" as well as the rustic section, the "Schluuch". These two restaurants can accommodate up to 160 people. Additionally, the "Schützenhaus" offers three beautiful banquet rooms, the largest being the Schützensaal, which can hold up to 180 people. During the summer, an additional 300 seats are available in the garden and on the newly designed terrace.

We stand for Swiss hospitality, tradition, and a down-to-earth gastronomic culture. At the same time, we are in an exciting phase of further development. Our restaurant is operational and is currently being gradually renovated and modernised. This gives you the opportunity to actively help shape the next stage of our establishment. The ongoing renewal offers space for new ideas and impulses.

Your exciting main tasks

* Ensuring a warm, professional, and authentic guest service

* Sales and organisation of banquets and events

* Personnel management, including recruitment, training, and development of the team

* Financial management, including budgeting and revenue control

* Collaboration with the kitchen management on menu design and optimisation

* Further development of the gastronomic offering considering the identity and tradition of the house

* Maintaining relationships with suppliers and local partners

* Compliance with all legal regulations and hygiene standards

* Monitoring quality, hygiene, and operational standards

* Purchasing and cooperation with suppliers and partners

* Active support during the ongoing renewal and renovation phase

* Presence at the front and personal contact with our guests

What you can offer

You have experience in a leadership role in the gastronomy sector and know how to run an operation both as a passionate host and with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Furthermore, you convince us with strong leadership skills, organisational talent, and a pronounced quality awareness. Even in lively situations, you keep an overview and treat guests and employees with respect, warmth, and professionalism.

Very good German language skills are required; additional languages are an advantage.
