Remote Full-Stack Django/React Developer (Non-US/Non-EU Position) - FULLY REMOTE

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team as our Lead Developer. As a Software Engineer at Tracklings , you will play a crucial role in building new features within our web application, as well as enhancing existing functionality. Your ability to collaborate effectively with our close-knit team and your aptitude for logical problem-solving will contribute to the continued success and growth of our software products.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the development process by developing, testing, and deploying new features for our web application.

Maintain and enhance existing features to improve performance, user experience, and overall functionality.

Work closely with founders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python, React, and the other languages in our stack.

Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing timely resolutions.

Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to improve our software products.

2+ years of recent Django or Django React Framework experience.

Experience in software development, including designing, coding, testing, and debugging.

Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

Solid hands-on experience designing and building solutions for customer-facing applications.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to logically follow a process from start to finish.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a track record of being a great team player.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Education and Certifications

While specific educational requirements are not mandatory, a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is advantageous. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Applicants will be required to take an online coding test on Django, Python, React.js, and Javascript.
