Perform a wide variety of budget functions involving the analysis, justification, and execution of Agency and Command-wide budgets for Operating Agency 22 (OA-22).
Perform a variety of readiness and operations support functions for organization.
Develop budget/program processes, procedures and guidance for executing financial management plans and programs.
Provide financial advisory services for assigned segment of the agency budget.
Serve as expert planner, analyst, and advisor to agency management on program cost analysis, annual/multi-year and long-range fiscal/program planning, and/or commercial issues for key programs.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Formulate and execute an organization's budget in accordance with fiscal law, regulations, policies and/or procedures; 2) Identify and analyze financial data such as budget requests, spending trends, obligations, expenditures, and reimbursements; 3) Provide technical financial advice and recommendations in accordance with budget policies and regulations; 4) Conduct research and financial analysis of complex accounting anomalies.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
