Performs hiring and succession planning for assigned work area.
Executes the full range of personnel performance management to maintain a professional workforce.
Holds discussions with subordinates/team leader personnel.
Confers with authorities of other related activities to assure that functional requirements are being met.
Oversees the analysis of the Depot Maintenance workload that is used as basis for the annual Army Working Capital Fund budget submission through the Major Subordinate Command Life Cycle Management Command and Major Command.
Provides reports and analysis of actual versus programmed depot activities.
Oversees development and execution of the Army Working Capital Fund budget covering multiple years, multiple appropriations, and long range work planning.
Analyzes and interprets program and budget guidance and instructions received from higher echelon to determine impact on the depot budget and annual funding program.
Determines the broad limits of regulations from higher authority and local policy of the installation commander, the organization and division of functions for the organization.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes includes utilizing a Systems, Application and Products in Data Processing (SAP) based accounting system such as Logistics Modernization Program (LMP); applying financial regulations and guidance to a Working Capital Fund (WCF); developing budget estimates; providing technical advice on budgetary and financial matters.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Manages Human Resources Oral Communication Organizational Performance Analysis Planning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
