## Your Purpose ##
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the financial planning, reporting, and performance management of the company's sales operations.
This position partners with operational leaders and corporate stakeholders to provide financial insights that drive strategic decision-making, improve cost efficiency, and ensure strong budgetary control across the business.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen and the ability to communicate complex financial information to diverse audiences.
This is initially a 6 month, hybrid contract (4 days / week in office in Miami, 1 day from home) with potential to become permanent
## Your Impact ##
* Participate in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
* Monitor operating expenditures, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
* Perform detailed variance analysis of actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior year, providing meaningful explanations and actionable recommendations.
* Develop and maintain financial dashboards, KPIs, and management reports that provide timely visibility into operational and financial performance.
* Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for senior leadership, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
* Analyze operating costs to support commercial and operational decision-making.
* Partner with department heads to improve financial performance through data-driven analysis and proactive financial guidance.
* Support month-end and year-end close activities by collaborating with Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Conduct ad hoc financial modeling, business case analysis, scenario planning, and investment evaluations for strategic initiatives.
* Identify process improvement opportunities and help automate financial reporting and dashboard development using business intelligence tools.
* Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal controls, and reporting standards.
## Your Journey so far ##
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 4-7 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or financial analysis.
* Experience in the cruise, hospitality, travel, or transportation industry is a plus.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
* Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar dashboard tools.
* Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance management.
* CPA, CMA, MBA, or other relevant professional certification is a plus.
