The posting
You will direct and/or perform continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization.
You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost/performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization.
You will prepare or review responses to reviews or audits; e.g., FMB, GAO, DODIG etc. which involve financial management policy and procedures.
You will conduct management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommends alternatives for corrective action.
You will develop performance standards and evaluate employee performance.
You will identify and arrange for employee developmental/training requirements.
You will hears and resolve employee complaints, referring serious complaints lacking resolution to higher level supervision.
You will take disciplinary measures such as warnings and reprimands and recommends more serious disciplinary measure to higher supervision.
You will interview candidates and recommend hiring, promotions, etc.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: Direct and perform continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the organization's major operating and support programs.
Provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution. Ensure the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy, and validity of supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports.
Promulgate approved financial management policies within the organization based on policy and develops and issues implementing procedures. Plan work, set priorities, and schedule work to ensure effective and expeditious accomplishment of the command's operational or financial priorities.
