FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

You will review and validate funding documents.
You will perform daily reconciliation of financial transactions.
You will conduct detailed reconciliation and analysis of prior year accounting transactions.
You will provide training and technical assistance to financial staff.
For the GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing, validating, and establishing funding documents in accordance with guidelines; 2) Ensuring proper authorization, accuracy, and availability of funds; 3) Conducting detailed reconciliation and analysis of prior year accounting transactions; 4) Preparing and delivering financial reports, data calls, and briefings to leadership, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
For the GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions; 2) Maintaining financial records and ensuring records are following management compliance; 3) Analyzing financial data to identify discrepancies and trends; 4) Performing daily reconciliation of financial transactions between the General Ledger and feeder systems to ensure data integrity.
