SUPV FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

You will serve as the Deputy Financial Manager and Comptroller for the entire Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic (NCTAMSLANT) Area of Responsibility (AOR).

You will serve as the senior analyst for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization.

You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.

You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution.

You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost and performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization.

You will promulgate approved financial management policies within the organization based on Department of the Navy policy.

You will conduct management evaluations of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews and recommend alternatives for corrective actions.

You will perform Funds Administration (FA) functions for NCTAMSLANT).

You will plan work, set priorities, and schedule work as necessary to ensure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse effect on regular and recurring work.

You will assign work to subordinates based on employee's capabilities, priorities and difficulty.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position.

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.

Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled.

Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: -Experience providing direct and indirect supervision over a group. -Experience utilizing Planning Program Budget Execution (PPBE), as well as analyzing program execution and providing recommendations to correct variances. -Experience utilizing, interpreting and adhering to the concepts and principles of Financial Improvement, Audit Readiness and Appropriations Law. -Experience briefing senior leadership both orally and in writing.
