The posting

You will serve as the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (NOO-FM) DIVISION, EXECUTIVE DIRECTORATE at NAVAL CYBER DEFENSE OPERATIONS COMMAND.

You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.

You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations.

You will perform budget formulation work involving assistance, review and preparation of annual funding needs for one or more future budget years.

You will act in the Budget and Finance Department Head's behalf in responding to inquiries made to Department Heads level and participates in meetings, briefings and conferences.

You will participate and assist with financial analysis and planning activities related to the Navy Cyber Domain financial community.

You will provide financial advice on budget related issues such as types of funding available and effects of budgetary changes.

You will analyze reviews, interpret financial execution data, and develop reports, briefs, and statistical summaries with recommendations for higher leadership.

You will analyze and recommend cost benefits of alternative methods of financial management of programs and administrative operations.

You will assess, identify and coordinate accounting policies and accounting process deficiencies for audit and journal voucher (JV) purposes and take corrective action.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position.

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.

Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled.

Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: -Experience analyzing, maintaining, or correcting financial accounts for reconciliation. -Experience managing financial systems to ensure all accounting records and reports are accurate. -Experience performing a variety of complex budgetary, administrative, and statistical functions to support budget formulation. -Experience performing tasks involving budget execution by compiling resource data from various financial management reports. -Experience in establishing, maintaining, tracking and updating commitments, obligations, and expenditures relative to funding transactions.
