As the Facilities Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our currently operating compounding pharmacy facility. You will be responsible for the upkeep of critical building systems and in an upcoming construction project to expand the facility.
You have a strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and general facility safety protocols, and are comfortable managing compliance across both an active production environment and ongoing construction site.
You must be able to work autonomously, prioritize competing demands, and coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal teams. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can troubleshoot facility issues independently while keeping safety and compliance front and center.

Robust and affordable Medical, Dental, and Vision plan options
Flexible time off policy
**Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual incentive plan and stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
What you get to do every day
During Buildout
Sit across from the Pharmacist in Charge and our Head of Compounding as the cleanroom vendor as the owner's technical voice — catching design problems on paper instead of during certification
Own the commissioning plan and IQ/OQ sequencing, and keep certification testing from getting blocked by open construction items
Contract and schedule the independent certifier, then drive every finding to documented closure
Write the SOPs that will govern the facility for years: monitoring, pressure verification, filter changes, excursion response, PM, calibration
Build the CMMS, asset register, and spare-parts inventory before go-live
Assemble the facility package that walks the Board of Pharmacy inspector through your work
Once we're running
Keep the pressure cascade, air changes, temperature, and humidity inside limits — continuously, provably
Make sure semi-annual recertification never lapses and per-shift differential checks are instrumented and defensible
Take the 2 a.m. alarm call, find the root cause, and write the deviation
Run change control on anything that touches classified space, airflow, filtration, or pressure relationships
Be the person who answers the auditor's hardest facility question without flinching
What you bring to the role
7+ years managing facilities or engineering in a regulated environment — 503A/503B, cGMP pharma, medical device, or hospital cleanroom operations
A cleanroom suite you were accountable for that passed or ISO 14644 certification — and the specific failures you hit getting there
At least one startup, expansion, or major cleanroom renovation carried from design through certification
Real command of BMS/EMS and continuous monitoring, including alarm config and data-integrity expectations for GxP records
SOP authorship and hands-on work inside a formal deviation/CAPA and change-control system
You've been questioned by a regulator about your records and held up
You have the following certifications
CETA CNBT Registered Certification Professional, Sterile Compounding Facilities (RCCP-SCF), in good standing
EPA Section 608 Universal
OSHA 30-Hour General Industry
NFPA 70E qualified person, within retraining interval
Bonus points
Additional CNBT credentials (Cleanroom Testing, Fume Hoods)
NEBB CPT background, or NSF/ANSI 49 field certifier experience
BCxA CCP or AABC CxA commissioning credential
IFMA CFM or SMRP CMRP
Texas TDLR Air Conditioning & Refrigeration registration
ASSE 6040 medical gas
USP containment — externally vented C-SEC, negative pressure suites
Engineering or industrial technology degree (strong certifications plus a hands-on record can stand in)
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Ability to gown and work in classified areas, access mechanical rooms, rooftops, and ladders
All Company policies and procedures are subject to change without notice based on business needs. This includes, but is not limited to, the locations where we hire remote, hybrid, or onsite employees.
