EHS Manager- Guwahati

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced EHS Manager to lead and oversee all Environment, Health & Safety initiatives within the organization. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, implementing safety programs, minimizing risks, and fostering a culture of safety across operations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines

Ensure compliance with local, state, and national environmental, health, and safety regulations

Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions

Lead incident investigations and ensure proper root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions

Plan and execute safety training programs and awareness campaigns for employees

Monitor workplace conditions and ensure safe work practices are followed at all times

Maintain EHS documentation, reports, and compliance records

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS standards into daily operations

Manage emergency preparedness programs, including drills and response planning

Track EHS performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Liaise with external regulatory authorities and auditors

Ensure proper waste management, pollution control, and sustainability practices

Drive a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field

8–10 years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments

Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and compliance requirements

Experience in safety audits, risk assessment, and incident investigation

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong leadership and team management capabilities

Effective communication and training skills

Proficiency in MS Office and EHS management systems
