Tasks

The role

As VP Engineering, you will build and lead the engineering organisation behind our AI platform. Your mandate is clear: turn product requirements and validated AI concepts into reliable, scalable and maintainable software. You will own engineering delivery, architecture, technical quality and engineering culture while remaining hands-on where it matters.

Stay hands-on through architecture, critical implementation and technical leadership.

What you'll bring

Experience building and leading engineering teams in a fast-moving product company.

A track record of taking products from prototype to production while scaling engineering teams, processes and technical foundations from early-stage through growth.

Strong engineering judgement across modern Python-based backend systems, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems and AI-enabled products.

Experience building and operating LLM or agentic systems in production, including evaluation, guardrails and failure handling.

You use modern AI coding tools as a core part of your engineering workflow and can effectively review and quality-control AI-generated code.

Evidence of making fast, high-quality decisions under ambiguity, including deciding what not to build.

Experience in healthcare, clinical workflows, FHIR, regulated or safety-critical software, or enterprise software deployments is a strong advantage, but not required.

Excellent written and spoken English. German is a plus, but not required.
