Electrician

Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots solid-state equipment, electrical equipment and devices in electric generating stations, and other ancillary facilities while observing safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment.

Operates high-voltage switches and related devices in connection with work while following the guidelines of the Hazardous Energy Control Program and in coordination with the control center and/or dispatcher.

Utilizes instruction manuals, standard operating procedures, Hazardous Energy Control Program, job hazard analysis, safe clearance procedures, safety trainings, and lockout/tagout when performing assigned work.

Perform electrical maintenance and repair of bridge and gantry cranes, and elevators as qualified, utilizing a variety of logic sequences and solid-state circuitry. Requesting and holding clearances for the work group and utilization of lockout/tagout.
