The posting
You will supervise electrician workers performing Nuclear and/or Non-Nuclear operations.
You will oversee nuclear production facility work that includes and are not limited to: checkouts and refurbishment of nuclear electrical cabling; cleaning, repairs and inspections on vital and non-vital switchboards.
You will review assigned job orders, workload data, plans, specifications, sketches and instructions; plan weekly/monthly work schedules and worker assignments; plan sequence of work operations for subordinates..
You will instructs workers on proper work methods, difficult work operations, use and care of equipment, and safe work practices.
You will maintain records of subordinates' time and manhour charges to assigned job orders; work progress, accidents, injuries, and causes of these; and prepare reports.
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below.
