The posting

You will coordinate with management and team members on electrical engineering designs.

You will conduct load studies, voltage drop calculations, and technical analyses and calculations for electrical engineering projects.

You will execute standard, conventional electrical engineering projects and provide technical reviews.

You will collaborate in project meetings, pre-bid conferences, and site walk-throughs, while proactively monitoring contractor progress to ensure critical milestones are met.

You will evaluate technical drawings, design plans, and specifications to ensure strict compliance with all contract requirements and engineering standards.

FOR THE GS-07 GRADE LEVEL: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying basic engineering principles and formulas to perform routine design calculations and draft project layouts under the close guidance of a senior engineer. 2) Assisting in monitoring project timelines, tracking resource usage, and documenting progress for routine project packages.

FOR THE GS-09 GRADE LEVEL: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinating and executing reviews of engineering plans and products to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local environmental, safety, and building codes. 2) Identifying regulatory discrepancies and working directly with project teams to resolve issues.
