Qualifications & Experience

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in marine and offshore electrical power system

design, with a focus on high-power / strong-current electrical systems.

2. Solid understanding of international electrical standards and offshore

requirements, including

o IEC, API

o Major classification society rules (ABS, DNV, LR, BV, etc.)

o Relevant international conventions

3. Familiarity with major electrical equipment suppliers and systems,

including Siemens, ABB, and Schneider Electric products.

4. Experience in FEED and/or detailed design phases is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform electrical system design for marine and offshore projects, including power

generation, distribution, and major electrical consumers.

2. Prepare and review electrical single-line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules,

equipment specifications, and technical documentation.

3. Develop Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures and site commissioning /

testing procedures for electrical systems.

4. Support factory testing, installation, commissioning, and

troubleshooting activities at yard or site.

5. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and compliant

electrical system design.

6. Address technical queries from owners, yards, vendors, and classification societies,

and support approval processes.
