Role: Platform Engineer (Azure)

Location: 100% Remote - Portugal

Required skills

5+ years of experience

Strong foundation in software engineering principles and practices, with a focus on cloud-native development and deployment methodologies.

Extensive experience with the Azure cloud platform , and Azure solution architecture and best practices , including knowledge of Azure services relevant to cloud software development, AKS, networking, storage, and other Azure services relevant to Kubernetes deployments.

Strong understanding of both infrastructure and software engineering principles, with a focus on cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes , including cluster administration, application deployment, networking, and security.

Experience with open-source tools and technologies commonly used in Kubernetes environments, such as FluxCD , Kong , and Linkerd , and their integration with Azure.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principles , ideally with experience in GitHub Actions or similar tools, and their integration with Azure Resource Manager and Kubernetes.

Experience with Terraform and IaC Principles

Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Go, C#, JS) .

Understanding of user experience (UX) and developer experience (DevX) principles , with a focus on designing and building user-friendly cloud-based tools and platforms.

Strong understanding of security best practices and zero-trust principles
