About project

We are looking for Senior DevOps Engineers to join a project delivered for our international client operating in a complex enterprise technology environment. The client is focused on building scalable, secure, and standardized technology platforms that enable engineering teams to deliver high-quality products while remaining aligned with the organization’s broader technology strategy and enterprise standards.

This role is a great opportunity to work at the intersection of platform engineering, cloud technologies, DevOps, and solution design. You will translate enterprise technology principles and standards into practical, scalable, and secure platform solutions while providing engineering teams with a clear technical foundation for the successful delivery and long-term evolution of their products.

You will

  • design end-to-end platform engineering solutions for assigned projects and products,
  • translate enterprise technology principles and platform standards into practical and scalable technical solutions,
  • ensure proposed platform solutions are technically feasible and aligned with organizational technology strategy,
  • produce and maintain key technical deliverables, including architecture and platform designs, integration diagrams, data models, and Architecture Decision Records,
  • review and validate technical designs proposed by Engineering Managers and engineering teams,
  • ensure platform solutions meet non-functional requirements related to performance, security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability,
  • participate in the early technical definition of projects by identifying dependencies, risks, technical constraints, and delivery opportunities,
  • identify opportunities to reuse existing platforms, shared services, frameworks, and engineering capabilities,
  • collaborate closely with Engineering Managers throughout implementation to maintain technical integrity and resolve design-related challenges,
  • promote standardization and reuse of platform engineering patterns across the technology landscape,
  • contribute to the development and adoption of reusable frameworks, shared services, and cloud-native platform capabilities,
  • evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and engineering tools and recommend their adoption where they improve scalability, performance, security, or maintainability,
  • document key technical and platform decisions through Architecture Decision Records and maintain relevant engineering repositories,
  • contribute feedback to the Enterprise Platform Engineering Manager regarding standards, governance, and continuous improvement opportunities,
  • support the development of sustainable engineering practices that balance long-term technical quality with delivery speed,
  • provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to engineering teams,
  • contribute to the continuous improvement of platform engineering standards, development practices, and technical governance,

Your profile

  • 5+ years of commercial experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud engineering, solution engineering, or similar technical roles,
  • proven experience designing and delivering complex enterprise-scale platform solutions,
  • strong understanding of application platforms, system integration, and modern software architecture,
  • practical experience designing and supporting REST API and microservice-based solutions,
  • strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems,
  • hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or both cloud platforms,
  • practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application environments,
  • strong experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices,
  • experience applying Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation practices,
  • ability to produce clear, structured, actionable, and maintainable technical documentation,
  • experience creating technical designs, integration diagrams, data models, and Architecture Decision Records,
  • strong understanding of non-functional requirements, including performance, security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability,
  • experience collaborating closely with Engineering Managers, Product Teams, software engineers, and enterprise technology stakeholders,
  • ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences,
  • strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities,
  • strong stakeholder management and communication skills,
  • commitment to engineering quality, standardization, technical governance, and continuous improvement,
  • ability to make pragmatic technical decisions while balancing business priorities, technical constraints, and long-term platform sustainability,
  • experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineering teams,

Nice to have

  • experience with platform engineering modeling and architecture design tools,
  • practical experience using AI-assisted engineering and software development tools,
  • relevant certifications in AWS, Microsoft Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, or related cloud technologies,
  • experience with Postman and API testing or integration tooling,
  • experience working with Redis or similar in-memory data stores,
  • knowledge of modern integration technologies and enterprise integration patterns,
  • experience building internal developer platforms or reusable engineering capabilities,
  • experience contributing to enterprise technology standards and technical governance frameworks,
  • experience evaluating and introducing emerging cloud, DevOps, and platform engineering technologies,

·

practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery.

·

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have

·

Experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work.
