Senior Azure Platform Engineer

You will be

designing, implementing, and operating secure and scalable Azure platform capabilities,

building and managing infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code,

leading Azure networking, including connectivity, routing, segmentation, and hybrid infrastructure,

implementing security policies, governance, and platform guardrails,

applying the Azure Well-Architected Framework to drive platform design and continuous improvement,

designing and maintaining CI/CD and GitOps processes for infrastructure,

developing automation and observability solutions using Azure-native tools and scripting,

building developer-facing platform capabilities, reusable templates, and self-service solutions,

applying Generative AI to infrastructure development, diagnostics, automation, and operational troubleshooting,

collaborating with technical teams, mentoring engineers, and supporting the adoption of platform engineering practices.

Your profile

7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud networking, and platform engineering, with demonstrable Azure delivery at scale,

experience applying the Azure Well-Architected Framework across Security, Reliability, Cost Optimization, Operational Excellence, and Performance Efficiency,

deep hands-on experience with Terraform, including module design and state management; knowledge of ARM/Bicep is a plus,

strong hands-on experience with Azure networking and security, including connectivity, segmentation, hybrid infrastructure, identity, governance, and security controls,

experience designing and managing infrastructure CI/CD and GitOps processes, with strong scripting and automation skills in Python or PowerShell,

deep experience with Azure observability, including monitoring, logging, application insights, and alerting,

experience building developer-facing platforms, templates, onboarding flows, or similar developer experience improvements,

practical experience applying Generative AI tools to development, diagnostics, automation, or infrastructure tasks,

strong ownership and customer-oriented mindset, with excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to influence across teams,

ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments, solve complex problems, proactively share knowledge, and mentor others,

experience working in Agile teams, including shaping epics and stories in Jira, and comfortable working across Windows and Linux environments,

good command of English (min. B2).

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have

experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work,

i Interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
