DevOps Engineer

Remote Recruitment is hiring a DevOps Engineer for our UK-based clients. This is a fully remote position offering South African professionals an excellent opportunity to work with leading UK employers from home. You will work UK business hours and join a supportive, fast-growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery

Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure using infrastructure-as-code tools

Monitor system performance and respond to incidents to ensure uptime SLAs

Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes

Collaborate with development teams to improve build, test and release workflows

Requirements

3+ years of DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience

Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible or similar IaC tools

Strong knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus)

Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python or similar
