Who We Are

Pindrop is the Real Human + Right Human® Identity Trust Platform for the AI era. As AI-driven fraud and deepfakes erode trust in digital communication, Pindrop delivers continuous identity verification and deepfake detection across voice, video, and digital interactions in real time.

Enterprises rely on Pindrop to secure billions of high-risk customer interactions each year, including top U.S. banks, as well as leading insurers and healthcare providers. Powered by models trained on more than 1.5 billion real-world interactions annually and protected by 300+ patents, Pindrop restores trust while reducing fraud, lowering operational costs, and improving customer experience.

Recognized by TIME as one of the Top 10 Most Influential Software Companies of 2026 and by Inc. for Best in Business for Innovation, Pindrop is backed by leading investors including Andreessen Horowitz, IVP, and CapitalG.

What you’ll do

As Senior Manager, DevOps & Platform Engineering, you will lead the strategy, execution, and evolution of the teams and systems that help Pindrop build, deploy, and operate reliable SaaS products at scale.

You will own the DevOps and platform engineering roadmap across developer tooling, internal platforms, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, release workflows, environment management, observability, and cloud operations. Your work will improve developer experience, accelerate the path from code commit to production, strengthen reliability, and increase operational efficiency across the engineering organization.

This role is both strategic and hands-on. You will lead a high-performing team, establish scalable engineering practices, partner across Engineering, SRE, Security, and Product, and remain technically credible in architecture and execution.

Define and execute the DevOps and platform engineering strategy, roadmap, operating model, and success metrics.

Lead the development of internal platforms, self-service infrastructure, golden paths, and developer tooling that improve engineering productivity and delivery safety.

Own CI/CD systems, infrastructure as code, release workflows, environment management, and deployment automation across the organization.

Partner with Engineering, SRE, Security, and Product to establish clear service ownership, platform standards, reliability objectives, and scalable developer workflows.

Build resilient multi-cloud practices across AWS and GCP, including Kubernetes-based delivery, infrastructure automation, and operational tooling.

Improve observability, alert quality, uptime discipline, incident response, and root-cause analysis for critical systems.

Lead cloud cost, capacity, and performance optimization as Pindrop ’s platform scales.

Remove production and delivery bottlenecks by improving platform capabilities, automation, and engineering operating rhythms.

Develop team capabilities, set clear priorities, manage project plans, and create a high-accountability culture that scales with company needs.

Evaluate and responsibly adopt AI-assisted engineering and operations tools that improve documentation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and team productivity.

Establish appropriate governance, security, and compliance practices for AI-enabled infrastructure and operational workflows.

Who you are

A platform-minded engineering leader: You understand how internal platforms, developer experience, reliability, and operational excellence work together to improve product delivery.

Technically credible: You can move fluidly between strategy, cloud architecture, platform design, and day-to-day execution.

A people leader: You build strong teams, coach managers and engineers, clarify ownership, and create an environment of accountability and growth.

An influential communicator: You align priorities, influence stakeholders, and translate complex infrastructure and platform needs into clear business outcomes.

Resilient and pragmatic: You exercise sound judgment in ambiguity, shifting priorities, and high-stakes production incidents.

A continuous improver: You look for practical ways to reduce toil, improve developer experience, strengthen reliability, and increase delivery velocity.

Your skill-set

Must-haves

6+ years of experience leading teams in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or SRE, with direct accountability for team performance and delivery.

Proven experience designing, building, and operating internal developer platforms, self-service tooling, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD systems, and infrastructure as code.

Strong experience operating large-scale SaaS platforms in AWS, GCP, or comparable cloud environments, with a solid understanding of distributed systems.

Practical experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools, scripting in Python or Go, observability platforms, incident management, and production operations.

Experience establishing platform standards, service ownership models, reliability practices, and developer-facing workflows across multiple engineering teams.

A track record of improving measurable outcomes such as deployment lead time, release safety, uptime, incident resolution, developer productivity, or cloud cost efficiency.

Hands-on experience evaluating and adopting AI-assisted engineering or operational tools with appropriate human oversight and quality controls.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

A strong foundational background as a DevOps, platform, infrastructure, SRE, or software engineer before moving into leadership.

Experience supporting live migrations or cloud transformation initiatives across AWS and GCP.

Experience building platforms for machine learning, data-intensive, security, or other high-scale products.

Experience navigating fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environments or startups where speed and scale intersect.

Experience with developer portals, platform-as-a-product practices, golden paths, internal APIs, or service catalogs.

What’s in it for you

This is a high-impact opportunity to shape how Pindrop scales and operates its cloud platform, offering direct influence over engineering productivity, release velocity, platform reliability, and cost efficiency. In an era where synthetic media, deepfakes, and identity manipulation are accelerating, our work directly protects financial institutions, enterprises, and consumers from fraud. You will wake up every day knowing your work has a tangible, real-world impact.

You will work alongside some of the best technical minds in security, AI, and voice intelligence. If you want to build something that matters—and have strong strategic visibility and organizational influence while doing it—this is that opportunity.

What Success Looks Like

Engineering teams can provision infrastructure, deploy services, and access operational information through reliable self-service workflows.

Developers experience a shorter, safer, and more predictable path from code commit to production.

Critical services have clear ownership, meaningful reliability objectives, actionable observability, and effective incident practices.
