About the field of activity

In times of rising geopolitical tensions and uncertainties, a country's ability to ensure its security and sovereignty is of utmost importance. Our mission at the Engineering Sensors \& Electronic Warfare department at RUAG is to support the Swiss armed forces in their duties by enabling persistent situational awareness.

An integral component of this mission is to provide reliable and robust monitoring and analysis capabilities for military air surveillance radars. To achieve this, we design and develop custom software tools for processing, analyzing and visualizing the data recorded by these systems.

Our work requires a deep mathematical and physical understanding of the full signal processing chain, from raw signal acquisition through processing to interpretation.

To support our radar engineering team, we are seeking a skilled Computational/Data Scientist who brings rigorous numerical modeling expertise coupled with a strong affinity for software engineering.
