You will serve as the technical lead and product owner for the design and development of a cloud-based data management environment referred to as TorpNet.

You will write production-grade code for a full-stack, cloud-native application, migrating the organization to a single source of truth.

You will integrate external technical expertise, coordinating with specialized security and software engineering personnel.

You will ensure all developed software meets high-quality industry standards and successfully achieves an Authority to Operate (ATO).

You will implement automated data validation and tracking mechanisms within the codebase to guarantee data integrity and ensure leadership can rely on trusted, live metrics.

You will serve as the technical anchor for the TorpNet development team.

You will lead Agile development sprints, break down stakeholder requirements into actionable technical tasks, and direct the daily project work of a cross-functional team of developers and data scientists.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional scientist leading the design and development of data-centric software applications, including creating automated data pipelines, and developing and deploying applications within a cloud-based infrastructure.
