Founded in 2025, Omnisent is a Munich-based defense technology company developing fully autonomous, Counter-UAS system. We are a small, high-output team from Cambridge, Imperial College, MIT, and BCG united by a mission to redefine modern airspace security.
Tasks
We are looking for a Data Engineer to build and maintain the data infrastructure behind our flight testing and acoustic sensor development – turning raw field data into structured, actionable insights for our hardware and ML teams.
Design, build, and maintain databases and pipelines for acoustic device parameters and flight test data using SQL and Postgres
Structure and manage large volumes of field-collected sensor and flight test data
Build tools and processes to make test data accessible and usable across hardware, ML, and flight test teams
Translate raw flight test results into structured, actionable datasets and insights
Collaborate with flight test engineers and ML engineers to ensure data quality and completeness from collection through analysis
Requirements
Strong proficiency with SQL and Postgres, and experience designing data pipelines and infrastructure
Experience working with sensor, test, or field-collected data
Comfortable structuring and cleaning large, messy real-world datasets
Strong collaboration skills, able to work closely with hardware, flight test, and ML teams
EU work authorization
Bonus
Experience with acoustic or sensor data specifically
Background supporting flight test or hardware test programs
Experience with ML data pipelines (labeling, dataset versioning, etc.)
