About the role

What we're looking for We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects across different domains, utilizing the latest technologies and methodologies to design, build, and maintain robust data systems. This role requires a deep understanding of dimensional data modelling principles, and a passion for solving complex data challenges.

Responsibilities

Conduct advanced data analysis and interpretation to support product and growth analytics.

Develop and implement semantic layers, data models, and reporting solutions to enable self-service analytics for clients.

Design, build, and maintain dashboards and data visualizations to communicate key insights and metrics.

Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, translate them into analytical requirements, and deliver actionable insights.

Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.

Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and visualization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is a nice-to-have. A Master's degree is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.

Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database design.

Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis is a must-have. Proficiency in Python or R is a plus.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.

Experience in the Crypto, Retail, or Health/Insurance industries is an advantage.
