SENIOR COST ANALYST/COST ESTIMATOR
STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS (SSP) · Washington Navy Yard, District of Columbia

You will be responsible for formulating, integrating, reviewing, and defending life cycle cost estimates for an SSP acquisition program, major subprogram, or Middle Tier Acquisition effort.
You will be responsible for translating system programmatic and technical information as provided by government technical staff or industry partners into high-quality cost estimates.
You will lead and provide overarching guidance to a team of government and contractor cost analysts to complete deliverables in support of internal SSP business processes and externally driven reviews (e.g., milestones, Navy gate reviews, etc.).
You will coordinate with program stakeholders to ensure that the inputs to cost estimates (e.g., Cost Analysis Requirements Descriptions) are internally consistent and the resultant cost estimates lead to optimal acquisition outcomes.
You will formulate and deliver tailored briefings to both SSP program stakeholders as well as members of the broader cost community (e.g., the Naval Cost Agency and OSW Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation).
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing life cycle cost estimates and analysis for weapons systems to include development, production, operations and support, and/or disposal phases.
