The posting
You will serve on a multi-disciplinary team providing scientific, technical, and professional cost guidance on all aspects of purchasing and procurement programs.
You will review and assess overall program progress and develop cost estimates and analyses based on planned technical and schedule parameters.
You will ensure cost analyses are based on current program information by working with engineers, project team leaders, and contractor representatives.
You will prepare and defend program plans to develop funding requirements and long-term cost profiles, and track financial performance for assigned programs.
You will assemble and provide information and advice regarding assigned program areas to senior leaders and management.
You will maintain technical expertise through professional education, training, conferences, and collaboration with other Navy and DOD organizations.
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS 11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing Life Cycle cost estimates and analysis for weapons system acquisition programs.
