Our client is a well-established financial services organisation with a strong focus on risk management, analytics and innovation. This 6-month contract assignment is available for an immediate start and offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in a collaborative and business-critical function.

## Job Description ##

* Support daily P&L control activities and investigate valuation or reporting issues

* Analyse profitability drivers and risk exposures across a broad portfolio of financial instruments

* Prepare concise management reporting and provide actionable business insights

* Identify opportunities to improve and automate business processes using modern technologies

* Develop, maintain and enhance analytical tools, dashboards and data products

* Collaborate closely with stakeholders across finance, risk and business functions

* Contribute to data-driven decision-making through robust analysis and reporting

## The Successful Applicant ##

* 4+ years of experience as an Investment Analyst, Risk Analyst, Market Risk Analyst, Quant Analyst or similar

* Strong understanding of financial instruments, including derivatives

* Sound knowledge of valuation methodologies and profitability measurement concepts

* Excellent Python programming skills with experience in analytics and automation

* Proven ability to analyse and improve business processes and underlying business logic

* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

* High attention to detail with a structured and accurate working style

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex topics clearly to senior stakeholders

* Experience with dashboards, data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau) or analytical product development is advantageous

* Exposure to front-office systems and trading environments is beneficial
