Senior/Principal Geotechnical Engineer (Offshore) - Outside IR35

Deliverables of the individual contactor: The Contractor will deliver geotechnical activities for offshore foundation design, including:

Managing incoming geotechnical data, ground/design risk and uncertainty.

Interpreting geotechnical data to determine parameters for design.

Designing a range of foundations (driven piles, drilled and grouted piles, monopiles, suction buckets, etc.) in variable ground conditions (soils, chalk, rock, and other challenging ground conditions such as carbonate and glauconitic soils).

Undertaking geotechnical analyses, including FEA and drivability assessments.

Liaising and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, to deliver Concept, FEED and Detailed Designs of foundations.

Producing documents such as design bases, design briefs, design reports.

Responding to comments and technical queries.

Liaising with independent certifying bodies to achieve design certification Originally posted on Himalayas
