Our client is an international organization located in Geneva.

## Job Description ##

This Finance Assistant position is primarily focusing on supporting the continuing smooth operations of the department by providing cover for certain duties.

It will consist in

* Financial duties in accordance with the needs of the department (processing refunds, credit card transactions, handling outstanding amounts due, applying incoming payments to invoices, processing consultants payments)

* Follow up on unapplied payments and liaison with other departments as required

* Handle replies to customers and other departments

* Assist as required in financial reconciliation of accounts, gathering of statistics and financial analysis of customers and customer accounts

* Other tasks as may be required

## The Successful Applicant ##

The Finance Assistant should bring the following background and experience:

* Education: first level degree, Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience in a financial accounts team

* 3 to 6 years of professional experience

* Good communication skills, the capacity to work in a team environment and to adapt quickly to tasks which may vary, in accordance with the needs of the department

* Proficiency in modern professional computer applications, in particular Microsoft Excel, CRM and Teams

* Experience with ERP based systems in the area of Billing, GL, Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable

* Excellent knowledge of English, a good knowledge of French would be an advantage
