The posting
The world of digital assets is accelerating in speed, magnitude, and complexity, opening the door to new ways for leveraging the blockchain. Fireblocks’ platform and network provide the simplest and most secure way for companies to work with digital assets and it trusted by some of the largest financial institutions, banks, globally-recognized brands, and Web3 companies in the world, including BNY Mellon, BNP Paribas, ANZ Bank, Revolut, and thousands more.
What We do
TRES Finance is the accounting and financial operations platform for crypto-native organizations. We ingest on-chain data across hundreds of wallets and chains, run cost-basis calculations on millions of transactions, and sync structured accounting entries into ERPs like NetSuite, Xero, and QuickBooks - in real time. Our customers trust us with their books.
That means production isn't a place you visit - it's where you live.
The role
We're looking for a backend engineer who gets genuinely excited when something breaks in production because it means there's a real problem to solve. You'll own critical parts of our data pipeline: the systems that pull on-chain data, reconcile balances, compute cost basis, and generate the financial records our customers stake their audits on.
This isn't a ticket-driven role. You'll identify what needs to be built, build it, ship it, and own it after it ships.
What You'll Bring
7+ years building and running backend services in production.
Experience with EVM-compatible blockchains - you know what a transaction receipt actually contains, what reorgs are and why they're painful, and how to build resilient indexers.
Strong opinions about reliability, observability, and data integrity.
Experience with accounting systems, financial data, or ERP integrations-advantage.
Worked at a crypto/Web3 company before-advantage.
Built systems that process high-volume, high-stakes financial data-advantage.
Fireblocks' mission is to enable every business to easily and securely access digital assets and cryptocurrencies. In order to do that, we strongly believe our workforce should be as diverse as our clients, and this is why we embrace diversity and inclusion in all its forms.
