ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS MECHANIC

Monitor and maintain complex electrical and electronic systems

Provide liaison with contractor technical representatives

Provide technical advice concerning system capabilities and limitations.

Repair and replace system parts and components

Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, manufacturer manuals and other material.

On a shift basis, monitors the main computer console for the operation of the Environmental Control and Engineer Smoke Control Systems

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS MECHANIC ~ without more than normal supervision. The ability to perform common Electronics Industrial Controls Mechanic duties which includes troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and electronic control systems.

Make final repairs and correcting defects on electrical and electronic control systems.

Frequently handles objects weighing from 10 to 40 pounds and occasionally heavier. Working Conditions - Work is usually performed in well-lighted, heated and ventilated areas; occasionally work outside. Is exposed to the possibility of cuts, bruises, scrapes, broken bones, shocks and burns.
