The posting
You will coordinate work while assuring proper inter-trade and inter-shop coordination and high level quality assurance with timely yet orderly job completion.
You will provide on the job training for workers, correct improper air condition equipment work methods (TGI's), and ensure work related shipyard instructions and procedures are followed.
You will inform the first line supervisor of job progress, performance, equipment and materials needed to complete job projects with adjustments as needed.
You will utilize blueprints and sketches of work documents to plan and execute work tasks.
You will be responsible for using proper prescribed work methods and procedures as well as the efficient use of personnel and equipment.
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and removal of temporary air conditioning services in support of nuclear work or within radiologically controlled areas.
You will provide air conditioning maintenance work on nuclear support facilities, to include: installation, scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting of building heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units.
You will lead workers to ensure that necessary plans, procedures, blueprints, instructions, tools are available to perform work operations.
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE: Ability to lead other workers or supervise subordinates; deal objectively and harmoniously with them; and render sound decisions; Interpret blueprints, sketches, docking worksheets, and job orders to perform the duties of the work operations.
Implementing knowledge of all materials used in a given line of work such as selecting proper material for each particular purpose. Ability to use and maintain tools, instruments, and related equipment as appropriate to one or more lines of work.
