Responsible for installing, maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting, diagnosing, programing, repairing, and replacing parts and components to include meters, as needed, for the centralized energy management and control systems (EMCS).
Perform system checks, monitor alarms, and interpret trending data.
Responsible for creating or revising operator-interface graphics, custom software programs and point databases that are used with the EMCS, workstations and website interface and maintaining programs for EMCS.
Ensure inspection and calibration of all inputs/outputs of primary equipment devices (boilers, chillers, air handling units, hydronic systems, compartment and roof top units)

There is no specific length of training or experience required. However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic without more than normal supervision. Assisting with maintenance on HVAC, security, or utility system and inspecting materials for wear, malfunction, or performance degradation.
Test sensor calibration and ensure alignment with system requirements.- Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
Physical Effort: Employee handles and carries tools, equipment, and test equipment weighing 40 pounds or less and is required to stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, and work in uncomfortable positions to reach parts of the system when modifying and adjusting sensors.
Working Conditions: Work is primarily performed inside but the employee may occasionally be required to work outside and in drafty attic spaces and cramped areas with low overheads or sudden temperature changes during maintenance or troubleshooting UMCS.
