Job Description

MOLA Architecture is a design-focused architectural practice that recently opened a new office in Limerick, expanding its presence in the West and Southwest.

We are seeking an Architectural Technologist to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic practice with a strong reputation for delivering excellence from sketch design through to construction across a broad range of sectors.

The successful candidate will gain valuable, hands-on experience across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, including large-scale developments throughout the region.

MOLA continues to support a flexible, hybrid approach to working and the new Limerick office acts as a shared base for the team. This role is open to applicants across the region, offering the opportunity to work closely with colleagues in Limerick while remaining fully integrated with our wider team in Dublin. We are open to discussing individual working arrangements, with a focus on attracting talented people with the right skills.

Job Requirements

Architectural Technologist with a minimum of 4 years’ post-graduate experience. More established candidates are encouraged to apply and will be viewed favourably.

Site experience is preferable

Knowledge and experience of statutory consent processes, current Building Regulations, and the BC(A)R process

Strong detailing, technical and construction knowledge is essential for this role, combined with design development and tender assembly

Strong communication, organisational and coordination skills, demonstrating ability, in conjunction with Project Architect, to oversee day to day site stage of projects in conjunction with Design / Main Contractor Teams

Proficient in Revit

Motivated, enthusiastic, creative, and flexible person who works well in a team or autonomously.
