INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/ARCHITECT (PROJECT MANAGER)

You will be responsible for the project management of work related to military construction projects.

You will render technical decisions/recommendations on situations, questions, and/or problems relating to scheduling, funding, project coordination, and contract interpretations related to execution of projects.

You will identify areas of risk associated with design and construction and develop mitigation strategies or alternatives.

You will serve on Selection Boards and provide recommendations for contract awards for both A-E and construction contracts.

You will Serve as liaison between project team and Supported Commander.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Applying advanced concepts, principles, and practices within the engineering and architecture fields to complete projects such as military construction and major facilities renovations; 2) Providing significant assistance to the management of capital improvement projects from conception through close-out, to include scope, schedule and cost; 3) Monitoring the use of assigned project resources, including reimbursable project dollars, to determine if the project is tracking as planned or if corrective action(s) should be taken; 4) Providing input for recommendations for resolving project problems due to design errors, unforeseen conditions, or changes in criteria; 5) Providing data, statistics, metrics, etc. to be used in briefs related to scopes of work, design reviews, contract negotiations.
